I have been playing with the idea of using some effect(using 'imovie') to create an almost cartoon look, for example increasing the contrast and altering the colours.
Here is a web page showing the features of a possible software at my use

Music Video Brief
Artist
(previously 'Last Orderz')

"Indigo Lights"
The song i will be creating a promotional music video for is called "Where Do We Run"
Here is an existing video of the band posted on Youtube covering 'Dani California' by the Red Hot Chille Peppers...
I hope to promote the band by making a music video to post on youtube and other websites linking to the band. I shall create a youthful, artistic image for the band, something that keeps with the music genre but also something to highlight the unique qualities of the band such as Age and overall talent.

'Ready for the Floor'-Hot Chip Video Analysis

This is a frame i really like and directly link to the atmosphere of Hot Chip and the Electro-pop genre. The processed beats link to this slightly novelty machine, also this has relevance with the 'Joker' character. This scene involves close ups of the characters face and actions in accordance to the narrative.
This part of the video shows the band struggleing over strange shapes like some sort of game (relevance to Joker). This shows an element of struggleing or loss balance which mimic the odd music. This frame is another prime example of the primary coulors that make up the abstract world of Hot Chip.
This is a narrative structured frame which ties into the lyrics, the character is half Joker half normal and is uncontrolably dancing whilst trying to stangle himself thus surpressing the menacing side of himself.
This is an example of voyeuristic treatment of the female body aswell as the below image. This image is in keeping with the relevance of dualality and halves, possibly to do with the lyrics 'instead of carving up the wall, why dont you open up we talk?', the contrast between abnormality/madness and normality/sanity, the women half blend into the background invisaging a deeper meaning to the lyrics that may be open to interpretation.
This image continues the theme of colour and mimics the music itself, through moving parts and a somewhat unpredictablility this illustrated the 'techno' music aspect of 'Hot Chip' .
This frame, and the general theme of the music video, uses high contrast colours in accordance with the 'Electro-pop' genre. The costume of 'the joker' is worn but the lead singer, this is a reference to 'Batman' and is one of the most well known characters of all time, a playful yet sinister character wich links in with the genre and narative of the piece, this also mimics the music itself, the playful created sounds. The artists gets many close-ups introducing and establishing himself/themselves.
