I have been playing with the idea of using some effect(using 'imovie') to create an almost cartoon look, for example increasing the contrast and altering the colours.

Good idea. I'm hoping to gget iMovie 09 installed before half term, so maybe have a think about what you could do if that came along - there's a green screen capability on it.
I just had a look at it it looks great! are we definitely getting it?
